Model Of Practice
The work of Youth Justice Agency Community Services staff is informed by a robust Model of Practice. When assessing any needs a child may have which would reduce his/her risk of offending the following factors are taken into account.
- Systemic Perspective
- Family Empowerment
- Multi-Modal Interventions
- Strength-Focused Approach
- Relationship Approach
- Restorative Approach
All 6 components of the Model of Practice are inter-connected and therefore the relationship between each of the components is as important as the individual components themselves.
